Abstract

The implementation of cement quality optimization and supervision methodologies should be performed to get high quality cements with lower costs. The control systems introduced in cement industry, have realized the automatic dosage of materials, the optimization of ignition and griding processes, optimization programs for energy consumption, archiving and retrieving of any interesting data, production, consumption, quality statistics. The recent attempts in implementing the optimization solution in cement industry in order to reduce cement manufacturing cost while increasing its performance have given satisfactory results. This paper proposes an efficient procedure in order to improve the standard indicators providing the mechanical, physical and chemical performances and an adequate software package, dedicated to cement industry, to display cement chemical compositions in various stages of the technological process.
