The State Equation Of A Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

The sense of evolution in a genetic algorithm is explained by the schema theorem. This paper proposes a new construction named "the state equation of the genetic algorithm" that is a generalisation of schema theorem and incorporates all previous results. Every genetic algorithm is a dynamic process whose dynamics is given by the state equation. The experimental results were acquired on the dominant individual problem, by integrating the state equation.
